Islamabad, Jan 13: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has finalized a significant deal with Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited, acquiring 1,010 Honda City 1.2L CVT vehicles at a total cost of Rs. 6 billion.
This procurement will be carried out in two phases, reflecting a strategic approach to meet operational requirements.
FBR has committed to an initial payment of Rs. 3 billion, which will fully cover the cost of 500 vehicles and partially pay for the remaining 510 units.
We will pay the balance upon delivering the first 500 cars for a smooth transaction. Deliveries will run from January to May 2025 in phases: 75 cars in January, 200 in February, 225 in March, 250 in April, and 260 in May.

This large-scale procurement also comes with added perks. Each vehicle will include premium features like a navigation system equipped with a reverse camera, a high-grade interior, free periodic maintenance for up to 20,000 km or 12 months, and an extended warranty of four years or 100,000 km—all at no extra cost. Additionally, FBR has requested the installation of tracking systems in each car, with a one-year service charge and discounted subscription renewals, further enhancing vehicle security.
Although, The agreement ensures that FBR’s fleet upgrade aligns with cost-effectiveness and performance standards. Honda Atlas will commence deliveries upon receipt of a pre-receipted bill, streamlining the payment and procurement process.
