The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested four officers of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), including Additional Director Chaudhry Sarfraz, over allegations of abuse of authority and bribery.
According to sources, the suspects are accused of misusing their official powers and accepting bribes. They will be produced before the Lahore District Court on Tuesday.
Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq is expected to represent the accused in court.
Chaudhry was reportedly removed from his position last month following various controversies and directed to report to the NCCIA headquarters in Islamabad. He stated that he had been transferred to the headquarters and had applied for a six-month leave.
