Islamabad, June 2025: Applications are now being accepted for the fully funded FIAS Fellowship 2026/2027 program in France. This prestigious FIAS Fellowship 2026/2027 offers researchers from all nationalities the chance to spend 10 months at one of seven renowned French research institutions.
The FIAS Fellowship, sponsored by the French Institutes for Advanced Study, aims to foster innovative research in France. Up to 28 fellowships are available for the 2026 academic year.
Successful applicants for the 2026/2027 will receive comprehensive financial support. It offers travel, accommodation, a monthly living allowance of €2,200, social security coverage, a research budget of €2,500 per year, and access to excellent facilities.

The FIAS Fellowship 2026/2027 welcomes applications in Social Sciences and Humanities, as well as other fields with interdisciplinary connections.
Candidates for the FIAS Fellowship must hold a PhD plus at least two years of post-doctoral research experience. They must not have resided or worked in France for more than 12 months in the three years before the application deadline of July 16th, 2025.
