Islamabad, Feb 10: FIFA has extended the mandate of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalisation Committee (NC) until July 31, 2025. Additionally, Saud Azim Hashimi, a current member of the FIFA-appointed committee, has been named the new chairman, effective February 16, 2025.

Hashimi will assume the role after the tenure of the current chairman, Haroon Malik, concludes on February 15, 2025. Meanwhile, the other two committee members, Muhammad Shahid Niaz Khokhar and Haris Azmat, will continue to serve in their respective positions.
This extension and leadership transition are aimed at ensuring continuity in PFF’s normalization process, which remains crucial for Pakistan’s football governance and development.
