Islamabad, Aug 23: Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the federal minister of finance and revenue, met with Mehmat T. Nane, the chairperson of Pegasus Airlines, and Muhammad Ali Tabba, the CEO of Lucky Cement Limited.
In addition to expressing gratitude for the Turkish aviation industry’s achievement, Aurangzeb said that working together in the field of aviation was a crucial component of their bilateral relationship and that it was consistent with the prime minister’s goal of advancing Pakistan’s aviation sector.
Mehmat T. Nane gave a summary of the Turkish aviation strategy at the meeting, emphasizing important elements that can help Pakistan’s aviation industry. He went into further detail about how Pakistan may benefit from Turkiye’s experience and knowledge to develop its own aviation sector.
The finance minister also recounted a recent meeting in which he and the Turkish Trade Minister talked about potential trade and commercial cooperation. He pointed out that this meeting is a part of a larger plan to improve relations between Turkey and Pakistan in a number of areas, including aviation.
The today’s talks were considered extremely productive and represented a significant advancement for Pakistan in its endeavors to strengthen its aviation capacities and cultivate closer economic relations with Turkey.
