Strengthening Ties Beyond Aviation
Pakistan and Bangladesh have shared a complex history, with relations often strained since their separation in 1971. However, recent political shifts in Dhaka have opened new avenues for engagement, leading to improved diplomatic and economic ties.
Earlier this week, during a visit to the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Hussain also announced that cargo flights between Dhaka, Karachi, and Lahore would begin soon. This move is expected to boost trade and business exchanges between the two economies.
Additionally, Hussain highlighted the ease of obtaining Bangladeshi visas online for Pakistani citizens, reinforcing Dhaka’s commitment to facilitating stronger business partnerships with Islamabad.
With the launch of direct passenger and cargo flights, Pakistan-Bangladesh relations are set to enter a new phase of cooperation, benefiting travelers, businesses, and the broader South Asian region.
