Islamabad, Sep 24: MMA star Shahzaib “King Khan” Rindh won the Karate Combat Interim Lightweight Championship title by TKO over Bruno Assis, a Brazilian. He thereby became the first Pakistani champion in the promotion’s history.
Shahzaib Rindh recently met former Federal Minister Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind in Islamabad in the wake of this incredible accomplishment. The former minister congratulated the newly crowned champion on his triumph and thanked him for improving Pakistan’s standing in the world community.
The former Federal Minister went on to say that he will reward the national hero with 25 acres of land and Rs 1 lac.The former minister said, “Where are the sports ministries of Pakistan and Balochistan?” after expressing his sadness about the national hero’s reception upon his arrival in Islamabad.
Shahzaib’s success made me tremendously joyful; it was like seeing my own son triumph. I have always encouraged young people and I will do so in the future. According to Shahzaib Rindh, the former minister has consistently stood by him.
“I put a lot of effort into earning the title.”I hope to keep improving the nation,” the winner stated. Shahzaib Rind defeated Luiz Victor Rocha of Brazil last week to win the Karate Combat KC-49 Championship in Singapore to take home the title of World Karate Combat Light Heavyweight Champion.
