Islamabad, July 31, 2025: In a major development for the local auto industry, Capital Smart Motors has launched Pakistan very first Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), introducing the Forthing Friday REEV with a remarkable total drive range of 1,150 kilometers.
PHEVs and HEVs were once the future, now they’re yesterday’s tech. With the arrival of the Friday REEV, that shift has become more apparent than ever, as the spotlight now turns toward more advanced and sustainable electric alternatives.
What sets this model apart is its advanced electric architecture combined with a built-in range extender. It allows the vehicle to run primarily on electric power while still offering the reliability of a fuel-based backup system. The result? Long-distance capability without the usual limitations of conventional battery-powered cars.
