Islamabad, Feb 10: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned the Chairman of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) to appear tomorrow at 10:30 AM regarding a petition seeking to halt the CSS 2024 examinations before the announcement of previous results.
During the hearing, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani deferred the case until tomorrow. The petitioners, led by Hamza Javed, were represented by their legal counsel, Advocate Ali Raza.
The petitioners contended that FPSC issued admission certificates on February 4 without addressing their concerns. A day earlier, on February 3, the commission had released the duty roster, signaling its intention to conduct the upcoming exams despite unresolved grievances.

Justice Kayani noted that the court had previously refrained from suspending the examination schedule, instead directing FPSC to review the situation in light of judicial directives.
Advocate Ali Raza stressed that the decision significantly impacts over 3,000 candidates, urging the court to intervene. The hearing will resume tomorrow (Tuesday), where further arguments are expected.
