Islamabad, July 24, 2025: Apple is reportedly working on its very first foldable iPhone, which is said to carry a 7.8-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch outer screen. The details have come from a trusted insider and align with earlier claims made by tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who shared the same screen sizes earlier this year in March.

Now, a second confirmation adds weight to those initial leaks.

When placed beside Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7—featuring an 8-inch main display and a 6.5-inch secondary screen—Apple’s foldable device seems slightly smaller but still competitive in design.

The foldable iPhone is rumored to be unveiled in the latter half of 2026, possibly around September. Recently, Kuo mentioned that Apple’s inner screen may avoid the usual crease seen in other foldables. This would reportedly be achieved through a special laser-cut metal layer beneath the screen that spreads pressure evenly when the phone is folded, preventing visible lines.

Camera-wise, the foldable model might offer two rear lenses and a single selfie camera. However, Face ID could be dropped from the design. As the release draws nearer, further information is expected to surface, shedding more light on Apple’s leap into foldable tech.

More developments are expected soon as Apple moves closer to joining the foldable smartphone race.
