For a total of Rs 2 billion, the Khyber Governorate (KP) government allowed the purchase of land for the Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway. Other Important Projects Approved
Along with the motorway, the KP government also approved some other projects that will help people in the region:
1. Medical College in Haripur
Rs 300 million will be spent to build a medical and dental college in Haripur.
2. Mezban Project for Tourism
The government will give loans to improve tourist facilities in places like Dir, Chitral, Swat, and Mansehra.
3. Water and Sanitation in Haripur
Rs 250 million will be used to start a Water and Sanitation Services Company in Haripur, improving water and waste management for residents.
4. Girls’ Cadet College in DI Khan
To fully build the Dera Ismail Khan Girls’ Cadet College, the government is spending Rs 300 million.
