Islamabad, July 3, 2025: If you’re a Pakistani traveler looking for a unique destination this summer, Gabon just made things easier. The Central African nation has announced a free electronic tourist visa (e-Visa) for visitors arriving between July 1 and September 30, 2025.
This special move aims to boost tourism and highlight Gabon’s stunning wildlife, rainforests, and culture. The country’s government launched the new visa system during a press conference in Libreville on June 30.
Why This Matters
The free e-Visa is part of Gabon’s second “Caravane Touristique” — a tourism campaign running from July 15 to September 15. The goal is to attract travelers from around the world and make the visa process faster and easier.
At the launch event, Gabon’s Tourism Minister Pascal Ogowe Siffon said the new digital system is “simple, fast, and fully online.” It’s designed to modernize how tourists enter Gabon and to promote the country’s eco-tourism and cultural spots.
