Islamabad, 5 June 2025: Eid ul Adha Gas Supply Schedule has been released by the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), confirming that there will be no gas outages across Sindh, including Karachi, throughout the Eid holidays.
The company has pledged uninterrupted service for domestic and commercial users to support increased household demand during the festival.
In an official statement issued on Wednesday, SSGC stated that from June 7 through June 9, gas supply will remain steady across the province. Normal load management routines will return from June 10.
To accommodate the spike in gas consumption typically observed during Eid celebrations particularly for cooking and family gatherings, SSGC has suspended its usual load management operations. The temporary suspension is part of broader efforts to provide relief during the festive season.

The Eid ul Adha Gas Supply Schedule includes the following operational plan:
- Friday, June 6 (Pre-Eid Day): Brief suspension at midnight to allow pipeline pressure stabilization.
- Saturday, June 7 (1st Day of Eid): Supply to resume at 5:00 AM and continue seamlessly all day.
- Sunday, June 8 (2nd Day of Eid): No disruption in service; full-day supply confirmed.
- Monday, June 9 (3rd Day of Eid): 24-hour supply to remain active through midnight.
- Tuesday, June 10: Routine loadshedding schedule will be reinstated.
SSGC spokesperson Salman Ahmed Siddiqui emphasized that operational teams have been mobilized to swiftly address any technical issues.
He also urged residents to use gas wisely and avoid unnecessary consumption to maintain pressure levels across the network.
The company’s decision to suspend outages during Eid has been widely welcomed, especially by businesses in the hospitality sector that rely on consistent gas access for high-volume cooking. Domestic users have also expressed relief, given the challenge of managing large gatherings without basic utilities.
