Islamabad, June 13, 2025: George Munsey carved his name into cricketing history books on Thursday after delivering a sensational individual performance for Scotland in their ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 fixture against the Netherlands at Dundee’s Forthill ground.
The left-handed opener delivered a spectacular 191-run performance against the Netherlands during the 78th fixture of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2, held at Forthill.
Though Munsey was bowled just nine runs short of a double century by Dutch pacer Vivian Kingma in the second-last over, his impact had already tilted the match heavily in Scotland’s favor.

The knock also helped Scotland maintain their recent dominance over the Netherlands — they had previously posted their highest-ever ODI total of 380/9 against the same opponent just weeks earlier.
In pursuit of the imposing 370-run target, Dutch opener Max O’Dowd kept his side in contention. At the time of reporting, the Netherlands had reached 209/4 in 31 overs, keeping the contest very much alive.
