Islamabad, Mar 10, 2025: The German Consulate in Karachi has modified its passport collection timings for the holy month of Ramadan, making adjustments to accommodate individuals observing the month-long fast.
As per the latest official notification, passport collection will now be available from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, throughout Ramadan, which is expected to end by March 31.
The consulate will revert to its standard operational schedule following Eid-ul-Fitr.
This revision aligns with the customary adjustments made by both public and private institutions in Pakistan during Ramadan, ensuring greater convenience for the public.

In a related development, the United States Embassy has revamped its online visa appointment system.
Under the updated process, applicants are now required to create a profile before proceeding with their appointment booking.
This change coincides with emerging reports that the Trump administration is contemplating stricter travel policies for multiple countries, including Pakistan.
While an official confirmation is anticipated next week, analysts speculate that Washington may soon introduce enhanced entry conditions for Pakistani citizens applying for US visas.
