The price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 1,000 on Wednesday and was sold at Rs. 419,362 per tola compared to Rs. 420,362 on the previous trading day.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs. 857 to Rs. 359,535, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined to Rs. 329,585, showing a decrease of Rs. 678.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $10 to settle at $3,970 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged, with 24-karat silver traded at Rs. 5,022 per tola and Rs. 4,305 per 10 grams. The international silver rate also stayed stable at $47.60 per ounce.
