Gold prices in Pakistan have surged to record highs as global and local markets witness unprecedented increases.
Following the global market surge, the price of gold in Pakistan per tola rose by Rs. 5,900, hitting a record high of Rs. 403,600. This is the first time in history that the price of the precious metal has crossed the Rs. 400,000 mark in the country.
Additionally, the price per 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 5,058, reaching a new record level of Rs. 346,021.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce jumped by $59, reaching a new peak of $3,818.
