The per tola price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 4,100 per tola on Tuesday and was traded at Rs. 384,000 against its sale at Rs. 388,100 on the previous day, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 3,515 to settle at Rs. 329,218 down from Rs. 332,733 whereas that of 22-karat gold also witnessed a decrease.

The price of silver per tola also fell by Rs. 32 to reach at Rs. 4,326.

The international price of gold also saw a decrease today. The rate was at $3,618 per ounce (with a premium of $20), a decline of $36, as per APGJSA.

Gold price has seen a massive increase in recent days and surged from below Rs. 360,000 per tola to near Rs. 390,000 per tola within a matter of days.
