The price of 24 karat gold increased on Saturday and was sold at Rs. 397,700 per tola, marking an increase of Rs. 1,900 compared to the last trading day.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10 gram gold was sold at Rs. 340,963 after gaining Rs. 1,629. On Friday, the price per tola had declined by Rs. 1,000, closing at Rs. 395,800.

The international gold rate also showed an upward trend today. It stood at $3,759 per ounce, with a $20 premium, reflecting a gain of $19, APGJSA reported.

Silver prices saw a modest rise as well. The price per tola went up by Rs. 105, reaching Rs. 4,704.
