Islamabad, May 30, 2025:  A sharp downturn has been recorded in both local and international gold markets, leading to a significant drop in gold price, buyers and investors alike.

Gold Prices in Pakistan saw a significant drop, with 24-karat gold slipping by Rs. 700 per tola on Friday, now trading at Rs. 348,600 compared to Rs. 349,300 the day before, according to figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the rate 10 grams of gold became 599 rupees cheaper, now traded at Rs. 298,868.

The decrease in gold prices in Pakistan is closely tied to the rally in the international bullion market. In the global market, the price of gold per ounce fell by 7 dollars, settling at 3,302 dollars.
