Islamabad, Sep 7: KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan registered a decline on Saturday, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Gold now costs Rs261,500 per tola, a reduction of Rs2,000.
In a similar vein, the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs. 1714, selling for Rs. 224,194.
On the other hand, the price of silver per tola was steady at Rs 2,950.
The spot price of gold dropped 0.8% to $2,495.86 an ounce after reaching a record high on August 20. At $2,524.60, U.S. gold futures ended the day 0.7% down.
Spot silver dropped 3.1% to $27.92 elsewhere.
Palladium fell 3.1% to $913.00, and platinum declined 0.4% to $920.55.
