Islamabad, Sep 27: Following many breaks through the all-time high, Pakistan’s gold price saw a small decrease on Friday. The price of 24 carats of gold decreased by Rs. 300 per tola to Rs. 276,700, while the price of 10 kilos decreased by Rs. 256 to Rs. 237,226. These figures were released by the Karachi Sarafa Association.
Precious metal prices in the local market rose by Rs. 1,500 per tola on Thursday, reaching an all-time high of Rs. 277,700. After reaching a record high of $2,685.42 on Thursday, spot gold remained stable at $2,670.50 per ounce as of 00:28 GMT on the global market. The price of gold has increased by about 29% on the global market thus far this year.
