Islamabad, Nov 7: Gold Prices in Pakistan Drop Sharply as Global Markets React to Trump Victory. Following a three-week low in the global market on Wednesday, when speculators piled into the US dollar following Donald Trump’s election as US president, the price of gold in Pakistan dropped by more than Rs. 5,000 per tola on Thursday.
The Karachi Sarafa Association released data showing that the price of 10 grams dropped by Rs. 4,630 to Rs. 237,311 and the Gold Prices (24 carats) decreased by Rs. 5,600 per tola to Rs. 276,800.
It is important to note that the price of the precious metal has dropped for the third consecutive day. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the price of the metal also slightly decreased on the local market. The precious metal’s price has reached an all-time high high of Rs. 287,900 per tola last month.
