Islamabad, Sep 5: The price of gold in Pakistan, which had dropped by Rs. 2,400 per tola over the previous two days to Rs. 262,100.
The price of 24 carats of gold increased by Rs. 2,000 per tola to Rs. 262,100, while the price of 10 kilos increased by Rs. 1,714 to Rs. 224,708, according to data released by the Karachi Sarafa Association.
Tuesday and Wednesday saw a decline in the price of the precious metal after it held steady on Monday.
By 09:26 GMT, spot gold was up 0.9 percent on the global market, trading at $2,516.18 an ounce.
Expectations of a deeper round of rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve, which is widely anticipated to begin this month, drove up prices.
