Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs. 418,862 per tola, down Rs. 1,000.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams stood at Rs. 359,106 after a decrease of Rs. 857, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The rate of 22-karat gold was also lower at Rs. 329,300 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs. 5,034 per tola and Rs. 4,315 per 10 grams.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,976 an ounce, up $23.6 or 0.60 percent from the previous session, supported by a weaker dollar and a U.S. Federal Reserve interest rate cut, though optimism surrounding U.S.-China trade discussions capped further gains.
