Islamabad, July 17, 2025: The rate of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs. 900 per tola and was sold at Rs. 355,100 on Thursday, compared to Rs. 356,000 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
This marks the third straight day of a fall in gold prices. Gold became cheaper by Rs. 700 per tola on Tuesday and fell further by Rs. 3,000 per tola on Wednesday. With today’s decrease, the total drop over the last three days stands at Rs. 4,600 per tola.
The value of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also fell by Rs. 771, now priced at Rs. 304,441 instead of Rs. 305,212. Similarly, 10 grams of 22 karat gold dropped by Rs. 706, bringing it down to Rs. 279,081 from Rs. 279,787.

Silver prices also saw a decline. The price of one tola silver and 10 grams silver went down by Rs. 50 and Rs. 43 to Rs. 3,964 and Rs. 3,398 respectively.
In the global market, the gold rate came down by $9, falling to $3,326 from $3,335. The silver rate also dropped by $0.5, now sitting at $37.80, as per the Association’s update.
