Gold rate in Pakistan jumped on Monday, following an upward trend in the international market. The rate of gold per tola rose by Rs. 1,500, taking it to Rs. 357,700, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

In the same session, the rate of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 1,286, reaching Rs. 306,670. This rise comes after a brief decline over the weekend when gold per tola had slipped by Rs. 900 to close at Rs. 356,200.

On the global front, gold prices climbed to $3,350 per ounce, including a $20 premium. This marked a $15 jump in just one day, strengthening the momentum that directly influenced the local bullion market.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan stayed unchanged. The rate per tola of silver stood at Rs. 4,031, showing stability despite the fluctuations in gold.
