The gold rate in Pakistan showed a mixed trend on Friday, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association. The rate of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,500 per tola, reaching Rs. 355,700 compared to Rs. 354,200 on the previous trading day.
However, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 1,286, closing at Rs. 304,955 against Rs. 306,241 earlier. Similarly, the 10-gram rate of 22-karat gold slipped by Rs. 1,179, settling at Rs. 279,552 from Rs. 280,731.
Silver prices, meanwhile, remained stable. Per tola silver stood firm at Rs. 4,013, while 10 grams held steady at Rs. 3,440.

In the global market, gold dropped by $15, trading at $3,330 per ounce compared to $3,345 a day earlier. The international silver rate also remained unchanged at $37.80 per ounce.
Analysts noted that fluctuations in the gold rate in Pakistan mirror changes in international bullion trends, which continue to influence the local market.
