Islamabad, July 23, 2025: The 24-karat gold rate climbed by Rs. 3,700 per tola on Wednesday, settling at Rs. 364,900, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. This is a jump from Tuesday’s price of Rs. 361,200.

With this sharp rise, gold has now reached its highest-ever rate in the country. The previous peak was in April when the rate touched Rs. 363,700 per tola.

Earlier this week on Monday, gold prices had already seen a hike of Rs. 3,600 per tola while there was no change on Tuesday. With today’s increase, the total rise in gold prices so far this week stands at Rs. 7,300 per tola.

The rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also went up by Rs. 3,171, moving from Rs. 309,671 to Rs. 312,842. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs. 2,917, now standing at Rs. 286,782 compared to Rs. 283,865 a day earlier.

Silver prices also recorded a gain. Per tola silver increased by Rs. 46 to reach Rs. 4,081, and 10 grams of silver rose by Rs. 39, now priced at Rs. 3,498.

On the global front, gold prices increased by $37, reaching $3,424 per ounce from the earlier $3,387. International silver rates also went up by $0.46, standing at $39.34 compared to $38.88, the Association reported.
