Islamabad, July 24, 2025: The 24-karat gold rate saw a steep drop of Rs. 5,900 per tola, settling at Rs. 359,000 on Thursday. Just a day earlier, it was being sold at Rs. 364,900, according to figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
A day before, the gold had reached its highest-ever level at Rs. 364,900 per tola, surpassing the earlier peak of Rs. 363,700 recorded in late April.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold slid by Rs. 5,058, now standing at Rs. 307,784 compared to Rs. 312,842. In the same way, 10 grams of 22-karat gold dipped by Rs. 4,637, settling at Rs. 282,145 from the earlier Rs. 286,782.

Silver also followed the downward trend. The rate for one tola of silver dropped by Rs. 24 to Rs. 4,057, while 10 grams declined by Rs. 20 to Rs. 3,478.
In the global market, gold prices dropped by $61, bringing the rate down to $3,363 from $3,424. Silver slipped by $0.26, reaching $39.08 from $39.34, as per the Association’s update.
