The gold rate in Pakistan dropped by Rs. 1,600 per tola on Tuesday, with 24 karat gold now available at Rs. 354,700, down from Rs. 356,300 the previous day, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
During the last three days of the previous week, the gold price in Pakistan had already slipped by Rs. 8,500 per tola, followed by a minor dip of Rs. 100 on Monday. With the latest reduction, the total fall over the last five sessions has reached Rs. 10,200 per tola.

Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs. 1,372, settling at Rs. 304,098 compared to Rs. 305,470 earlier.
On the other hand, silver prices stayed firm, with per tola and 10-gram rates closing unchanged at Rs. 3,963 and Rs. 3,397 respectively.
