Islamabad, July 3, 2025: The rate of 24-karat gold surged by Rs. 800 per tola, reaching Rs. 357,000 on Thursday, in comparison to its previous rate of Rs. 356,200 on the last trading session, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

It is worth mentioning that gold prices jumped by Rs. 800 per tola on Monday, the first trading day of the week, followed by a further hike of Rs. 6,600 per tola on Tuesday. However, the price dropped by Rs. 600 per tola on Wednesday. Today’s rise has pushed the total increase in gold rates this week to Rs. 7,600 per tola.

The value of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also grew by Rs. 685, climbing to Rs. 306,069 from Rs. 305,384, while the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs. 628, going up to Rs. 280,573 from Rs. 279,945.

The prices of per tola and 10-gram silver also went up by Rs. 55 and Rs. 47 respectively, reaching Rs. 3,871 and Rs. 3,318.

Globally, the gold rate advanced by $8 to $3,350 from $3,342, while silver gained $0.55, reaching $36.87, as per the Association’s report.
