Islamabad, Aug 6, 2025: The rate of 24 karat gold surged by Rs. 1,300 per tola, reaching Rs. 359,300, compared to Rs. 358,000 a day earlier, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw a rise of Rs. 1,114, taking the new price to Rs. 308,041, up from Rs. 306,927. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased by Rs. 1,022, now priced at Rs. 282,381, compared to the previous Rs. 281,359.

Silver also recorded gains. The price per tola of silver went up by Rs. 39, now standing at Rs. 4,010, while 10 grams of silver climbed Rs. 33, reaching Rs. 3,437.

On the global front, the international gold price rose by $13, settling at $3,366, up from $3,353. Similarly, the price of silver internationally increased by $0.39, reaching $37.77 from the earlier $37.38, the association noted.
