Islamabad, June 28, 2025: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant drop on Friday, with the rate for 24 karat gold decreasing by Rs. 5,000 per tola. It was traded at Rs. 351,000, down from Rs. 356,000 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

The decline in the Gold Rate in Pakistan was also reflected in other gold categories. The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs. 4,287, settling at Rs. 300,925, compared to Rs. 305,212 previously.

Similarly, 10 grams of 22 karat gold rate saw a reduction of Rs. 3,930, bringing its price down to Rs. 275,857 from Rs. 279,787.

Silver prices also followed the downward trend. Per tola silver decreased by Rs. 68, trading at Rs. 3,782, while ten-gram silver dropped by Rs. 58 to Rs. 3,242.

This local decrease mirrors a global trend. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $53 to $3,290 per ounce from $3,343. International silver prices also dipped by $0.68, settling at $35.98, as reported by the Association.
