Islamabad, July 8, 2025: The value of 24 karat gold jumped by Rs. 1,500 per tola, reaching Rs. 354,500 on Tuesday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

A day earlier, the rates of the gold had dropped by Rs. 2,500 per tola in the domestic market.

The cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs. 1,286 to Rs. 303,926, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold settled at Rs. 278,608.

Meanwhile, the prices of silver per tola and per ten grams stayed stable at Rs. 3,841 and Rs. 3,293, respectively.

It is worth noting that gold delivered an impressive 45 percent return during the previous financial year, FY25, trailing only the 60 percent gains posted by the KSE-100 Index. This effectively made gold the second top-performing investment in FY25.
