Islamabad, Sep 21: 24 carat gold changed hands on Saturday for Rs.272,500, up Rs.500 per tola from the previous trading day’s sale price of Rs.272,000.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold grew by Rs. 429 to Rs. 233,625 from Rs. 233,196, while the cost of 10 grams of 22 carat gold increased to Rs. 214,156 from Rs. 213,763.
At Rs. 2,950 per tola and Rs. 2,529.14 per gram, respectively, the price of silver did not change.According to the Association, the price of gold on the global market was up by $10 to $2,622 from $2,612.
