The final episode saw Park Bo-gum’s character, Yoon Dong Ju, make the ultimate sacrifice for justice, risking his declining health to stop a deadly terrorist plot. With a bittersweet ending, Dong-Ju survives and is promoted, but the cost of his journey is visibly etched into his future. Meanwhile, the villain Min Ju-yeong meets a chilling end behind bars, strangled in what appears to be a vigilante act—hinting at unresolved darkness in the story’s world.

Critics praised the high production value, emotionally charged storytelling, and especially Park Bo-gum’s performance.
