Islamabad, Sep 7: To put the plan into action, the Punjab Higher Education Commission and a number of private universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The government would award students with scholarships of Rs 7 billion under this scheme this year.
A total expenditure of Rs 131 billion, the Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme is scheduled to be completed in seven years. To guarantee that more students will benefit from the program, the budget will be raised by 10% year.
Approximately 30,000 students from Punjab will have received financial aid at the program’s conclusion, enabling them to pursue higher education and realize their academic goals.
