Islamabad, Feb 6: The National Telecommunication and Information Technology Security Board (NTISB) has issued a critical cybersecurity advisory to protect confidential digital files and sensitive documents. The advisory comes in response to an increasing number of cyber threats targeting government institutions, private organizations, and public service entities across Pakistan.
NTISB warns that improper handling of sensitive digital information can result in severe consequences, including unauthorized access, data breaches, reputational damage, and even threats to national security. The board stresses the importance of implementing strict cybersecurity measures to prevent data leaks and safeguard critical files from malicious actors.
The advisory underscores the risks associated with the widespread use of cloud storage, networked systems, and external storage devices.
