Islamabad, Aug 7: Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that Pakistan and China share a long history of unwavering friendship and are tied in a strong bond of love and trust.
During a visit to the Chinese Consulate in Lahore on Wednesday, he expressed the resolve to to play a positive role in strengthening China-Pakistan friendship.Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan was warmly welcomed by the Chinese Consul General to Lahore Zhao Shirin during his visit of the Chinese Consulate. During the meeting, both sides expressed determination to further strengthen cooperation and friendship between Pakistan and China.
Sardar Saleem Haider further said that Chinese investors will be provided all possible support by the Governor House to invest in Punjab.Consul General Zhao Shirin said that Pakistan and China are iron brothers.The Chinese Consul General gave a check of 04 million rupees (40 lakh) to the Governor of Punjab for development work in Attock district. The amount was announced by the Chinese Consul General during a recent meeting with the Governor of Punjab at Governor House Lahore. The Governor thanked the Chinese Consul General for the goodwill gesture.The Governor said that a dispensary will be established in Attock with the support of the community. He said that this dispensary would cater to the health care needs of the unprivileged class of the area.
