ISLAMABAD, June 2, 2025: The Federal Government has issued the official notification for Eid-ul-Adha holidays. As per the notification, there will be four holidays on Eid-ul-Adha, from June 6 to 9.

Eid holidays will be from Friday to Monday across the country. Eid holidays notification has been announced after approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
All public and private offices, schools, colleges, and banks across Pakistan will remain closed during the four days.
The extended break has been introduced to allow citizens sufficient time to take part in Eid rituals, spend time with their families, and travel if needed.
The announcement follows confirmation by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which observed the Zilhajj moon on May 27.

Earlier, a fake notification had circulated on social media, claiming five holidays, but it was quickly rebutted. The government has also announced the presentation of budget on June 10, 2025.
