Islamabad, Aug 6, 2025: The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTA) has opened several job positions for professionals from various fields. This new hiring drive aims to bring skilled individuals into Punjab’s education sector to support research, planning, training, and innovation.
These posts are being offered on a three-year contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and need.
Positions Announced
PECTA is looking to hire Deputy Directors (BPS-18) and Assistant Directors (BPS-17) in the following areas:
- Curriculum
- Research
- Finance
- HR
- STEM Education
- IT
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Special Education
- Legal
- Media & Communication
- General Administration
- School Leadership
- Subject Experts (English, Urdu, Math, Science)
Salary & Age Criteria
- Deputy Director: Rs. 175,000/month – Age: 28 to 45 years
- Assistant Director: Rs. 130,000/month – Age: 26 to 40 years

Qualification & Experience
- A Master’s degree (16 years education) in a relevant field is required.
- For Deputy Directors, 4 years of experience is needed.
- For Assistant Directors, 2 years of experience is required.
- All degrees must be from recognized institutions.
- No candidate should be receiving another scholarship or government support at the time of applying.
