The new Pakistani Accelerated Vehicle Electrification (PAVE) program is a government initiative providing citizens with a new facility where individuals can purchase electric motorcycles at a low subsidized price and at convenient installation payments. This project will also help to bring eco-friendly two-wheelers to the general population at a lower price and encourage environmentally friendly transport.
The scheme will include a Rs. 50,000 subsidy on Crown electric bikes and all installment payments are fully interest free. It will be a cost-effective opportunity to a broad audience as the citizens will not be charged any processing fees.
The program will be open to all Pakistani citizens between 18 and 65 years of age, but women, persons with disabilities and overseas Pakistanis will be given preference. Applications are completely online and are submitted through official portal. A computerized lottery will be used to select to bring out transparency.
