The federal government has announced new prices of petroleum products effective from September 1, 2025.
According to a notification issued by the finance division, the price of petrol will remain unchanged while the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs. 3.
The new price of high-speed diesel will be Rs. 269.99 per liter, while the price of petrol will remain unchanged at Rs. 264.61 per liter.

At the last fortnightly review of petroleum prices, the price of high-speed diesel was reduced by Rs. 12.84 per liter. However, the price of petrol was kept unchanged.
The government had also reduced prices of superior kerosene oil and light diesel oil by Rs, 7.19 per liter and Rs. 8.20 per liter, respectively.
