Islamabad, Sep 11: The federal government has made the decision not to sell off exhibition centers. Authorities made this decision after noticing more revenue and better government control of these centers.
Govt privatization policy Expo Center CEO Mariam Khawar reaffirmed that the facilities are profitable and self-sufficient, meaning they don’t need government funding. In addition, she declared that the former Chief Financial Officer had been fired because of accusations of wrongdoing.
In other news, Saindak Metals Limited and the Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation have been cleared for privatization by the federal cabinet.
Furthermore, ENAR Petrotech Services Pvt Ltd would be abolished as a department.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has garnered attention from eight companies seeking to acquire it.
Other departments, such as the Sui Gas Companies, Pak-Arab Refinery Limited, and Pakistan State Oil, are still unknown.
