The federal cabinet has withdrawn its earlier decision for members to contribute one month’s salary to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for flood, earthquake, and other calamities.

According to an official memorandum issued by the Ministry of Finance on 19th August 2025, the earlier directive stating, “Cabinet Members will contribute one month’s Salary to PM Relief Fund,” has been officially withdrawn.
The move comes shortly after the Finance Division had announced the salary deduction for federal employees to support disaster relief efforts. The withdrawal means cabinet members are no longer required to donate their salaries for this purpose.
