Islamabad, Aug 13, 2025: The capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, a major city, are preparing to celebrate Independence Day and Marka-i-Haq, and here the streets, sights, and squares are decorated. The city government has promised that the organization of all events will be performed with dignity and national pride. There is a lot of lighting and decoration of major thoroughfares.
Review arrangements were carried out by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), with the top officials Chairperson Mohammad Ali Randhawa, Islamabad-IG Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and senior officials ensuring that everything goes well. Important roads such as Constitution Avenue, Jinnah Avenue, Club road and Srinagar Highway have been decorated with colorful lights and digital screens with nationalistic messages.
The Allama Iqbal Park and the Pakistan Monument along with other public parks, grounds, and monuments have been made to look great with light. Welcome cultural programs, hoisting the flags, competitions to find out the best national song, and fire works will be held to attract citizens and create celebrating atmosphere. Independence Day branding is also present on buses running in the city.

Flags, badges, stickers and green and white attire stalls are placed in Murree road, Chandni Chowk and other trading places, which helps the development of spirited patriotic mood. In a bid to make everyone feel the celebrate, the Punjab government has announced a 13 days long festivity between August 1st to 13th. Police presence ensures peace and security of the festivities.
The twin cities will be taking the Independence Day with pomp and colors, festivals, and cultural shows and it will give the citizens and visitors a memorable experience.
