Islamabad, 11 Apr, 2025: In a significant development for Pakistan’s spiritual community, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar reached out to Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud with a special appeal to expand the quota for Hajj pilgrims.

The appeal, made on the special directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, received a positive and generous response from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Following diplomatic discussions and the tireless efforts of the Deputy Prime Minister, Saudi authorities agreed to approve an additional 10,000 slots for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims.
