Islamabad, June 5, 2025: Millions of pilgrims have reached the grounds of Arafat today to perform Waqoof-e-Arafa, one of the central pillars of Hajj.

Pilgrims will listen to the Hajj sermon, which will be delivered in several languages, including Urdu, so people from various countries can understand it clearly. They will also offer Zohr and Asr prayers together, as per tradition, and spend the day reciting Talbiyah, making duas, and seeking forgiveness.

On Wednesday, the Saudi Minister for Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, along with the Minister of Health, Fahad Al-Jalajel, visited Arafat to review the facilities and arrangements made for this year’s pilgrimage. Their visit was meant to ensure that everything is in place before the gathering at Arafat.

During the visit, Al-Rabiah inspected various camps, resting areas, and service points set up for pilgrims. He checked whether the medical, logistical, and technical systems were running smoothly to support the crowd and ensure everyone can complete the ritual without problems.
