Islamabad, Aug 3, 2025: In a major move to encourage more participation, the Pakistani government has officially opened Hajj 2026 applications for both registered and unregistered pilgrims. This inclusive step aims to ensure that every eligible Muslim citizen gets the opportunity to perform the sacred journey.
According to reliable sources, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that pilgrims already enrolled in the government Hajj database can submit their applications between August 4 and August 9, 2025. Meanwhile, individuals who have not previously registered will also be given a chance to apply from August 11 to August 16, 2025.
All applications will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. However, preference will still be given to those who have completed the registration process in advance.
Flexible Hajj Packages and Payment Schedule
To accommodate different needs, two Hajj packages will be offered under the government scheme:
- Standard Package (38–42 days): Initial deposit of Rs. 500,000
- Short Package (20–25 days): First installment of Rs. 550,000
Applicants can submit their Hajj 2026 forms through 14 authorized banks across the country. The second installment for Hajj costs will be collected on November 1, 2025.
